Youth PRIDE Meeting Minutes
September 27 , 2005 Meeting

Members Present: Brady Koontz, Macy Woods, Michael Stiles, Haley Hayes, Kristie Park, Kateland Williams, Zack Henderson, Mitch Moore, Andrea Williams, Annaliese Henderson, and Beth Phillips.
Members Absent: Ashley Morris and Michelle Morris
Old Business:
*The students' community service logs were updated to reflect the correct number of hours.
*We will be applying for a $1000 grant from Youth Service America to be able to purchase the materials to build historical markers for the East Wetzel Trail.
New Business:
*Five members will be applying for "Lemon Aid" stands through the Sunkist Corporation. Proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Disaster Relief.
*Members want to inquire of the Adult PRIDE about a youth center as a future goal.
*Member voted to elect officers for the 2005-2006 year. Elected offices will be: President, Vice President, and Secretary.
*Members voted to eliminate from membership any person who misses 3 consecutive Youth PRIDE events.
*Members voted that no new applications would be accepted after today.
*Members reviewed applications for membership and voted to accept all 13 new applicants into Youth PRIDE. New members are: Lindsay Burley, Kenneth Shreve, Jacob Watson, Taylor Lind, Ethan Koontz, Raven McDiffit, Nick Cyphert, Nicole Musco, Rachel Ashcraft, Whitney Condit, Patricia Bowman, Brittany Moore, and Kristi Phillips.
