.....Encouraging economic growth in the community is very important to Hundred Area PRIDE. Frontier

(an independent telecommunications provider and a company of Citizens Communications) is thriving in

the area. First Exchange Bank (centrally located in Mannington, WV) established a branch in Hundred in

1997. Union Bank, with its home office in Middlebourne, WV, also set up a branch in Hundred, replacing

Huntington Bank in 2004. These are just a few of the businesses that continue to prosper in the community.

New businesses are being attracted to the area as well. A Dollar General Store (financed by First Exchange

Bank) recently opened in Hundred in February of 2005.
